Beauty in Battle: Newest Creative Etsy Venture
Beauty in Battle is a new Etsy shop venture I began recently after losing my day job. My focus for this shop can be summed up as classy, geeky lifestyle products for strong women. The idea came to me all at once, and discovering this avenue for expressing my creative abilities was a serious eye-opener.
Product Branding
My designs are predominately aimed at young ladies who are professionals with some geeky qualities they casually or competitively engage with in their free time. The resounding themes that I hope to capture are independence and strength. Independent enough to love themselves and handle life’s business while riding solo. Strong enough to fight for what they want for themselves and remain positive in the face of adversity. I believe that all women should be able to express confidence and self-worth in what they can offer the world in both business and recreation.
Why Start?
Though I know I can, I don’t believe I am well-suited to work for someone else. Ever since my run with turning EtherFuture into a digital business which, for a short time, turned a small profit, I knew that I could build something that could sustain itself. However, at the time, I lacked the knowledge to do so efficiently. Establishing Beauty in Battle through Etsy.com and Printful.com has enabled me to do exactly what I had originally wanted to achieve with EtherFuture in a relatively seamless manner.
Though I’m excited to take this step, I remain cautious. There is a good bit to learn, and nothing great is built in a day. However, I want nothing more than to be 100% self-employed through acting, gaming, and creative works.
